BEST OF CARE COVID-19 GUIDELINES

To All Best of Care Clients, Partners, Associates and Staff:

Best of Care continues to deliver home care services to the most vulnerable members of our communities. Our mission to keep individuals safe at home in the midst of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak is a matter of public health & safety. All Best of Care staff have been directed to follow the CDC guidelines with respect to hand washing and prevention techniques.

We have been directed by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs to advise staff members to continue to provide care to their clients unless they have experienced the following symptoms and/or situations:

1. Do you have a fever (Higher than 100.3 degrees) or new respiratory symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?
2. Have you traveled to a COVID-19-affected area (outside of U.S) in the past 14 days?
3. Have you had close contact with a person (live with or are within 6 ft. of for over 15 minutes) diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
4. Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 or told by a healthcare provider that you may or do have COVID-19?

Along these lines, we ask that all clients and/or client representatives ask themselves the same questions and notify Best of Care immediately if they, or someone they live with, is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

Clear communication can help to safeguard the health of our aides and clients.
