In 2014 Kevin implemented Best of Care’s growth strategy with the  acquisition of two private pay home care companies and expansion of partnerships with aging services providers in Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard that are part of Massachusetts’ state-funded home care network.  

 

In 2018 Kevin was elected by his peers as president of the Home Care Aide Council of Massachusetts. In this role, he collaborated with fellow agency owners across the state through the COVID-19 pandemic and advocated for changes in state policies to better support the home care workforce and home care consumers. 

 

In 2019 he continued to expand the company’s statewide footprint by securing new contracts and a new office in Western Massachusetts. Best of Care acquired several companies and partnered with others that complement the direct caregiving aspect of the business.

 

Kevin has contributed his home care industry experience and insights to national, regional and trade media. These include interviews and point of view pieces in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The Los Angeles Times, CNN, CNBC, Home Health Care News, McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Home Care.

 

Kevin is a 2007 graduate of Providence College. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, visiting family on Cape Cod, cooking, and playing tennis.
